We make notes about interactions which may include additional personal information that has been volunteered. If you provide us with the personal information of other individuals, we are relying on you first having obtained their consent to do so.
We record CCTV footage within the clinic. We do this for safety and security.

safely provide veterinary and associated services
invoice and receive payment
recruit, employ and train staff
Besides our staff, we share this information with a number of services / departments including but not limited to:
Referral service providers in order to refer your patient when appropriate
Insurance providers in order to allow your insurance claims to be processed
Other veterinary clinics in order to comply with the veterinary code of conduct
Payment processing
Debt collection agencies in order to collect or recover debts we are owed
Companion Animals NZ Register in order to register pet microchip information
External laboratories for diagnostic testing
Pet aftercare and cremation services
Manufacturers and wholesalers for processing returns and advising of adverse events
ACVM for reporting adverse events
SPCA if there are animal welfare concerns
to other third parties within reasonable expectations or where expressly permitted under applicable privacy law or where we are legally required to do so, such as pursuant to a court order or warrant
Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to provide us with necessary information, we may be unable to provide some services.
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
